In its 10th anniversary tour year, the SimpleGifts holiday concert season includes a performance Saturday, Dec. 15 in St. Michael.

The concert is set for 7:30 p.m. and will take place at the St. Michael-Albertville High School performing arts center.

SimpleGifts, featuring guitarist Billy McLaughlin, "makes musical magic by bringing a modern flair to traditional Christmas carols and hymns. Staying close to the heart of Christmas by avoiding commercial and pop holiday repertoire has become the trademark of this award winning six-piece ensemble," the SimpleGifts website states.

This holiday concert season features a special guest, Celtic whistle and bagpiper, Laura MacKenzie.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for students ages 18 and under, and $15 for seniors ages 65 and over.

Advance tickets are available online. Limited tickets are available at the door — online purchase is highly recommended.
