Very easy for all of you armchair quarterbacks to make calls and accusations and name call. Eveyone is 10 feet tall behind a keyboard eh?
Maybe you should look into some of the committees she's on. Do ANY of you hold the top secret clearance she does? Are any of you receiving daily briefs from the intelligence agencies? Some of the threats against this country I have heard would make you people soil yourselves. Most of you have no clue of the enemies against this country, and only God knows why most of you can't accept that fact. Is Sharia Law making inroads into this country? Yes. There have been calls from groups such as CAIR asking for a special court to hear cases involving Muslims, much like some special courts on Indian reservations.
It is simply stunning that 19 people hijack 4 aircraft, incinerate 3,000+ innocents, and United States interests around the world are under attack daily, yet I read comments above which are totally bereft of any intelligence whatsoever, just name calling. Wow. Simply stunning.
Lastly, STMAMom, I have no idea how many friends you have nor care, but it can't be many. I know a lot of folks in St. Michael, and know of very few that voted for Graves or carpetbagger Clarke previously.

This is just disturbing. How does one develop that much hatred? Are the people in her district proud of this? Is this why they elected her? How can she serve her district with so much hate in her heart? Read Hitler's Mein Kampf are you kidding me?

This is like reading about the rantings of an inmate at the local asylum, except that THOSE crazy people are not normally given national news coverage.

Once again we distract ourselves from the real problems by fixating on foreign boogeymen. BY FAR, the greatest threats to average Americans are other Americans.

These threats aren't as easy to identify as color, religion, etc., which is why simple minds tend to obsess with stereotypes and broad generalizations. Sharia law is not the problem. Stupidity is the problem.

I happened to stumble across that radio program while driving last weekend, and I am stunned by this entire article. Obviously the author Helal and the Patch have a deep desire to cut Bachmann down using whatever they find, wherever they find it. I seriously doubt if the author even heard the radio show herself. Because if she had, she would have never written this piece as it is - a hit piece on a conservative.

The radio show was about the major, potentially life-threatening changes being made to the training materials that our soldiers and intelligence personnel are receiving. Patch, I demand an apology for this article as it is so blatently politically motivated, as well as being a personal attack on an elected official who has access to classified documents we'll perhaps never see. I am especially disturbed by the way that Christians outside the liberal mold are targeted with crafty techniques which give the reader the completely wrong impression of them. This "news" article reads as a typical Huffington Post blog. If you find yourself getting upset at Bachmann and thinking that this is yet another piece of evidence that proves Bachmann's idiocy, you really should examine your sources. The Bachmann I know is highly intelligent, concerned for our nation, and aware of the threats we face. The good news is that she's willing to endure these attacks and false reporting in order to get the word out.

How ever she got reelected I don't know. I honestly feel that if the marriage amendment wasn't on the ballot she would have received fewer votes. I'm not saying she's a bad person but she embarrasses herself and us voters quite often. She basically spat in our faces during the Iowan caucuses, calling herself an Iowan. She certainly doesn't represent me anymore. All she is doing now to keep in the spot light is making silly accusations. Her only legitimate claim to doing any good for MN was helping to secure funding for the Stillwater bridge and I'm not sure she can even claim that given the work Klobuchar did.

You can be highly intelligent, have top security clearance and still be a racist nut that fires up suspicion in others. In fact it is often the most intelligent that have the ability to do the most harm in building hate mongering. I know that Huffington is more like a National Enquirer but there are enough other facual sources that point to Bachmann's lunacy. She is an emabarassment to Minnesota.

Intolerant comments questions my or our new community editor's comments will not be tolerated. The new editor was hired for her journalistic talents, and nothing else. I'd ask for some restraint, or at least tolerance.
Ms. Helal's religious background has nothing to do with the reporting of this story. It was also run in Stillwater and Woodbury, by white Protestant men. Want to question them?

Ha, all Republica that have died in the past 100 years are just spinning in their graves. And even the true GOPers who are alive are wishing that Bachmann would join them! Man, I'm a democrat and even I feel sorry for the true and respectable Republicans who have to deal with this.
