Bachmann Daily Beat
Bachmann slams Planned Parenthood, supports Libya withdrawal resolution.
Latest News:
Rep. Michele Bachmann made waves over the weekend with some controversial claims about Planned Parenthood. On Friday, the sixth district congresswoman and likely presidential candidate branded the group a criminal enterprise and accused it of quietly condoning the sex trafficking of underage girls. She called on Congress withdraw the group's public funding.
Bachmann made her comments at the Faith and Freedom Coalition's conference in Washington D.C., where she and other Republican presidential contenders vied for support from Christian conservatives. The Los Angeles Times says she got the most enthusiastic response. Bachmann also called on conference attendees to help block implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. (Some know it better as "Obamacare.")
The Washington Post says the possibility of Bachmann and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin running for president has "energized conservative women."
Commentary:
Who says bipartisanship is dead? On Friday, Bachmann was among among several dozen House Republicans who crossed party lines to support a Democratic resolution calling for an end to U.S. military operations in Libya. The resolution, offered by liberal firebrand Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio), failed on a vote of 265-148. A Wall Street Journal opinion piece labeled Bachmann and her cohorts "Kucinich Republicans."
Meanwhile, Atlantic Wire blogger Elspeth Reeve makes the case for Bachmann as a viable presidential contender.

I will applaud Congresswoman Bachmann in a quickening quote:
"the lowest places in Hell are reserved for those who were neutral in the face of serious societal moral decline."
Go Michele Go - All the Way to the Oval Office!!!!

I cannot agree with you more Chanan. She is a brillant woman, with much conviction and morals. One who can bring this country back to it's reputation and give rise and put her back on her feet. She is full of energy, correct thinking, and upholds a morality long forgotten by many.
I too, applause her and may God carry her forward on to Washington!
