Bids for Kids: St. Michael Catholic School Fundraiser Taking Shape
The Catholic school's biggest fundraiser of the year is set to "head 'em up and move 'em out" at the end of this month. First, they need the public's help to pull off a night in the Wild West.
The St. Michael Catholic School will present “Wild Wild West”, a Live and Silent Auction Fundraiser with a dinner and dance benefiting the children of the St. Michael Catholic School.
The annual “Bids for Kids” event is to run from 4 p.m. to midnight, Saturday, April 28 at The Northland Inn, 7025 Northland Drive, Brooklyn Park, MN.
Organizers are currently seeking donations from the community. All donations, large and small are accepted. Want to participate but not sure how? Contact our Bids for Kids Hotline: 763-497-3878 or bids4kids2012@yahoo.com.
Some donation ideas are: kids' stuff, services, dining out, tickets, cooking baskets, teach a skill, books and lessons, gift certificate, cash, GPS, remote car starter, sports packages, a weekend getaway, time cruising the lake, offer to decorate someone’s house for Christmas, flowers of the month, music lessons, host a party, and the list goes on and on!
Everyone is invited to attend this night in the Wild West, organizers said. Attendees don’t need to be a parent or grandparent of a student of the school, but there are a limited number of tickets available
Come in comfortable country western attire! Cowboy boots and hats are acceptable. And don’t forget that belt buckle for the night's "big" contest.
