DWI Sentencings: St. Michael Area Court Cases
The following court cases involving area arrests were handed down in Wright County Court. Information is provided by the Wright County Attorney's Office.
Anthony Joseph Bartell, 30, of Albertville, sentenced on Feb. 4, 2013 for Gross Misdemeanor Second Degree Refusal to Submit to Testing to 365 days jail, $300 fine; 325 days stayed for three years on conditions of probation, serve 40 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, attend awareness panel for impaired drivers, undergo chemical dependency treatment and follow all recommendations, attend a support group, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, stay out of establishments where alcohol is primary means of business, serve 80 days on electronic home monitoring, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Tenney.
Loren Henry Mahler, 53, of St. Michael, sentenced on Feb. 7, 2013 for Gross Misdemeanor Third Degree DWI to 365 days jail, $300 fine; 361 days stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve four days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, serve 26 days on electronic home monitoring, follow all recommendations of chemical dependency evaluation, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Strand.
