Get Out: A Weekend of Music, Food and Fun in St. Michael Area

The festivities start with a huge football game Friday night and continue through one busy weekend in St. Michael-Albertville. It all leads to a "short" week next week.

This weekend, the community has plenty of action, good causes and fun to keep your calendar booked.


STMA Varsity Football Game

When: Friday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.

Where: Saint Michael-Albertville Middle School West

Why Go: Cheer on the hometown boys as they take on local rivals from Monticello.

Price: Adults $6, Students $4

 

Lake Community Oktoberfest 2011

When: Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Where: Lake Community Bank

Why Go: Test out your costume for a morning of pumpkin decorating, delicious apples, muffins, Tommy's Petting Zoo, bounce castle and more pumpkin patch fun.

Price: Non-perishable food donation for the Hanover Food Shelf.

 

Space Aliens & STMA Baseball Fundraiser

When: Friday, Oct. 14 & Saturday, Oct. 15

Where: 11166 County Road 37, Albertville

Why Go: Print this flyer and head over for a bite in support of the STMA baseball program, as they will receive 20 percent of the proceeds.

 

Liberty October Fest

When: Saturday, Oct. 15 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Where: Liberty Restaurant and Bar

Why Go: Spend an autumn afternoon with German beers, wine and food specials.

Price: Free general Admission

 

Quilt Bingo

When: Sunday, Oct. 16 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Where: St. Michael Catholic School

Why Go: All ages are invited for an afternoon of bingo with the opportunity to win hand-made quilts, cash and a bike (kids only).
