Halloween Haunted Houses in the Northwest Twin Cities
Looking for a scary experience this Halloween? Some of these attractions are within driving distance of St. Michael, but could be worth the scare factor.
For some people, celebrating Halloween includes visiting a haunted house or going on a haunted hayride. Halloween is just around the corner and to get you prepared for the spooky holiday, Patch has prepared a list of some haunted attractions you can visit - if you dare.

Nightmare Hollow Scream Park
Claims to be the scariest haunted house near Minneapolis and St. Paul. In addition to the haunted house, they also have horror hayrides and a Klown Karnival.

Ramsey County Sheriff’s Fright Farm Haunted House
This haunted house is located on the Ramsey County Fairgrounds where the Poor Farm operated from 1885 to the 1940s. Citizens who couldn’t care for themselves were sent to live at the Poor Farm. They worked in exchange for free room and board. Many employees of the Haunted House have claimed to see a dark shadowy figure that they’ve affectionately named “The Cowboy.”

Valleyscare Halloween Haunt
You must be over the age of 13 to go to the Valleyscare Hallowen Haunt. Located at Valleyfair, the park has been taken over by monsters, zombies and scary clowns.

Scream Town
Boasts the largest haunted corn maze in Minnesota. With five attractions spread out over 400,000 square feet in Chaska, you’re sure to experience fright at its finest. Visit Oak Blood Forest, Terror in the Corn, Rabid Alley, The Red Neck Resort, and Circus Asylum. Scream Town also features over 100 actors.
