Over 100 patrons saw a preview performance of the beloved holiday classic, "The Nutcracker," presented by the North Ballet Youth Company last Thursday in the St. Michael City Hall Council Chambers. 

The performance, hosted by the St. Michael Library, featured a reading of the classic tale, live ballet dancers and Tchaikovsky's music as a background for the dancers.

The North Ballet Youth Company, located in Rogers will be holding its full length production on Saturday, Dec. 15th at 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. 

Local ballet students will be joined by professional guest artists from Ballet West as well as the local Land of Lakes Choirboys. For more information go to www.northballetyouthcompany.org.
