Santa's Sleigh to Land at St. Michael Fire Station Saturday
Children can meet Santa from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The St. Michael Fire Station will display more red than usual with the visit of Santa Saturday morning.
The jolly man will meet with children from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
"It's always been important for the community to get together and do this," said Joy Isaacson, administrative assistant to the fire chief. "I'm thinking we should have a good turnout this year."
The youth of the St. Michael Fire Department Explorers are bringing Santa Claus to town, and a significant part of the event will include collecting food and toy donations for Caring for Kids.
All donations go to local children, something Isaacson is significant.
"They always like seeing Santa and the fire trucks, and they feel good about donating a toy that stays local and is given to someone in the community that needs it," Isaacson said.
The St. Michael Fire Explorers have also set up drop-boxes for donations throughout the community this holiday season.

Do they do pictures on site or do parents take their own?

@Irish: Parents/guardians will need to take their own photos. Fire department staff will be able to assist as needed so long as you have your own camera/camera phone.
