The St. Michael-Albertville-Hanover Community Library is planning a special Leap Year celebration program for all ages on Saturday, Feb. 25, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.  

The program will be presented by Kristen Gordon, a writer for stage and musicals who spent 15 years writing for radio. Gordon has recently written a children’s story about Leap Year. She has partnered with Albertville children’s art teacher Pam Pitman to have a class of art students illustrate the story. Students will create art in the style of famous illustrator Romero Britto.

Albertville Princess Brittany Heinen will read the story to children at the event.
