Teachers, Staff Kick of Catholic Schools Week in St. Michael With Open House

A quiet Sunday saw dozens of families march through the city's historic building as St. Michael Catholic School kicked off a week full of special activities.

St. Michael Catholic School’s open house went off without a hitch Sunday, marking the beginning of their busy Catholic Schools week.

Families interested in enrolling their children in the K-6 school could speak with principal Jennifer Haller, tour the school and meet many of the teachers, who were on hand in the gymnasium to answer questions and give information about the school’s schedule, curriculum and technology offerings.

“We have activities going on all week to celebrate our faith and learning,” said kindergarten teacher Mary Berscheit, listing student field trips, visits from clergy and family evening activities as some of the highlights to come

The week wraps with a game night at St. Michael Catholic Church Friday from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
