Eight of the 11 men taking aim at positions on the St. Michael and Albertville city councils participated in last week's Candidate Forum, sponsored by the Women of Today and St. Michael Patch.

Candidates took an opportunity to introduce themselves with a five-minute opening segment. Questions were then fielded from the audience.

Patch Associate Regional Editor Mike Schoemer served as the night's emcee.

For more information on the candidates themselves, check out St. Michael Patch's complete Voter's Guide

Are there any highlights or anything that can be shared so those of us who couldn't go get a bit of information about it?

If you weren’t able to attend the forum, please take a little time to watch the video, listen to what the candidates have to say, and judge for yourself who you would like representing your city. If you agree or disagree with anything that was said, or have any questions, contact the candidates. Albertville folks, you can start with me: sorensen_albertville@yahoo.com. 763-497-8533. Thanks, Larry Sorensen

cdk - picking out a "highlight" would be me stepping into a wasp's nest of criticism. Imagine if I pick a highlight for Candidate A, but not Candidate D? Al Anderson would be on me before I could click away from the page!!!

Clicks held back - in honor of what Mike said.

Still waiting for the Patch article about Klobuchar's fraud perpetrated upon the citizens of this state.

Still waiting for the Patch article about Klobuchar's $120,000 donation corruption.

Mike -- the election is Nov 6th, by the way. Every local TV station has covered this story --- even your favorite, KARE 11
