Wright County Looking for Members of Mental Health Advisory Council

A public notice from Wright County.

 

Notice is hereby given that the Wright County Human Services Board will be selecting members for the Wright County Human Mental Health Local Advisory Council.  All appointments shall be for a two-year term. Consumer and Family Representatives will receive a per diem and mileage for the council meeting participation.  Meetings are held the second Tuesday of odd numbered months at 3:15 p.m. at Wright County Human Services.

The purpose of these meetings is to discuss needs and gaps around mental health resources in our community and make recommendations to the Wright County Human Services Advisory Committee. All council members must be a Wright County resident or a service provider of Wright County residents.  The Council is looking for members in the following areas:

Person who has/is receiving mental health services

Parent of a child who has/is receiving mental health services

Family Member of someone who has/is receiving mental health services

Community Provider for Adults

Community Provider for Children

Concerned Citizens of Wright County

Law Enforcement/Corrections/Court Services
