Sassy Seconds and More owner Lisa Gray opened the doors to this upscale resale place in 2009 in one little slice of the La Centre Avenue strip. She soon came to rent the next-door space, which started out as a separate place for young people to buy and sell gently used prom dresses as well as rent tuxedos. That venture went so well that she has knocked out a door space between the two and combined them into an attractive, creative use of nearly 3,000 feet of space for all of the new and consignment items. Lisa has donated gift certificates to private fund-raising events and has a special interest in fund-raising for individuals with developmental delays. Sassy Seconds has managed to maintain a consistent clientele with over 1,000 consigners and has been a good asset to a thrifty community which is always looking for ways to save money and recycle.
