How Would You Rate 2013 on a 1-To-5 Scale?

For some people, it was a good year. For others, not so much.

We want to know how 2013 treated you. We asked St. Michael Patch readers how they would rate last year on a 1-to-5 scale, with 1 as the worst and 5 as the best.

Here are some of their answers:

Rita Kaye Vetsch: "Rough year all around for me. I'd have to rate it a 2.5. Let's just say that I am excited to start a new year with new goals and aspirations! Here's to 2014!!”

Jeremy Hager: "I would rate it a 4. I would have said 5, but now Perkins is closing. Really though, the median home price was up about 10%. We have great parks, schools, and an awesome library. People are friendly. What's not to like?"

Lynn Cedergren: "4! Our baby boy (3rd child) was born June 6th and we moved into the house we built on July 6th. The only down side to 2013 was my husband getting laid off, but he got a new job that he really enjoys so it worked out."

Mary S Albrecht: "5. Family is happy and healthy … Nothing else really matters, does it? And our football team went to the dome!!!!!!"
