Last Chance: Albertville Farmers Market Will Be Open Thursday

The summer-like conditions set for Thursday mean one more run (at least) for the community's favorite produce stands.

With 70-degree temperatures on tap for today, one not give the Albertville Farmers Market one more try?

The Albertville Lions Club announced earlier this week it would be "holding over" the market for one more week (at least), since summer-like conditions are keeping a grip on October and the wet weather made for a late planting season last spring.

Those two ingredients make up a successful market, as there is still plenty of produce to sell.
In its fifth year, the Albertville Lions host the annual Farmers Market 3-7 p.m.

The market includes local growers from Albertville, St. Michael and the surrounding area. Crafters and food related products are also available from more than 20 vendors.

Sheltered from sun and rain, the Albertville Farmers Market is located at the Lions Shelter in Central Park off of Main Street in Albertville.
