Nominations are Open to Select St. Michael's Second Holiday Cheermeister

What St. Michael resident will join 2012 Cheermeister Jim Pichler in the annals of holiday lore? Submit your vote today.

STMA Rotary and Shop Saint Michael are seeking nominations for St. Michael’s “Holiday Cheermeister.”  This special person will have the honor of lighting St. Michael’s holiday tree during the 2nd Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration Dec. 3 at St. Michael City Center.

Nominees for Holiday Cheermeister must be either St. Michael residents, be involved in a St. Michael organization or own or work at a St. Michael business. Nominees should be actively involved in the St. Michael community, embody the holiday spirit, and exemplify Rotary’s Four-Way Test, which asks: Of the things we think, say or do: 1.Is it the TRUTH?, 2.Is it FAIR to all concerned?, 3.Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

4.Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Nomination forms are available at Shop Saint Michael businesses, City Hall, and at www.stmarotary.org.   Nominations will be accepted through Nov. 8.  The Holiday Cheermeister will be selected by Shop Saint Michael and STMA Rotary and announced in mid-November.

The Holiday Tree Lighting celebration is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3.  This festive event will include caroling, kids’ activities, holiday stories, photos with Santa and much more.
