Buffalo Hospital to Host Pink Street Party

Downtown Buffalo will be illuminated with thousands of pink lights every night during October in honor of people who have experienced cancer.

The inaugural lighting is at 8 p.m. during the Fifth Annual Pink Street Party on Thursday, Oct. 3 from 4 to 9 p.m. in downtown Buffalo.

“The money raised during the last four years at the Pink Street Party has made possible the creation of the new Virginia Piper Cancer Institute – Buffalo Hospital.  Now, those dealing with cancer will receive all services in one new location on the hospital campus,” says Karla Heeter, director of the Buffalo Hospital Foundation.
