Rogers Teen Musician Named to MacPhail Advisory Board
Theo Menon of Rogers, a junior at MTS Minnesota Connections Academy, has been named to the MacPhail Center for Music’s Teen Advisory Council for the 2013-14 academic year. The 13 members are from schools across the Twin Cities and meet monthly, September through August, to help identify and design MacPhail programs for teens. Menon is a member of the MacPhail Community Youth Choir and the National Honors Society. Though enrolled at MTSMCA, Menon is a full-time PSEO student at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. The PSEO program allows high school juniors and seniors to simultaneously earn high school and college credit. MTS Minnesota Connections Academy (MTSMCA), is a tuition-free, K-12 online public school that students from across the state attend from home. More than 1,500 students are currently enrolled.
