Advance Tickets Available Soon for Albertville Rides

Parents and kids can grab advanced tickets later this month for the big midway at Albertvlle Friendly City Days. The city and the Albertville Lions will mark 25 years of celebration.

Albertville will be celebrating it’s 25th Friendly City Days on June 6-10, 2012.  Friendly City Days is packed with activities for all ages. The event will be running from Wednesday, June 6 through Sunday, June 10. 

Friendly City Days has tons of great food to offer the thousands of people who are expected to come to Albertville for the weekend, which is sponsored by the and the City of Albertville.  

The unofficial start to the week begins Wednesday with the kickoff of the "All City Garage Sale." Then, starting Thursday at 3 p.m.., Midwest Rides will bring in more than 30 rides for kids of all ages.

Friday, the carnival will open at noon and run through midnight. Saturday and Sunday, the carnival will open at 10 a.m. and run throughout the day. Hit the midway, which includes plenty of games and food, as well. 

Annual favorites such as live music, food, fireworks, a parade, sports tournaments, and lots of fun activities for the kids.  Area merchants will be selling Friendly City Days buttons and Discount Ride Tickets starting Memorial Day weekend.
