Albertville Lions Sportsman's Show a Huge Success
The annual Sportsman's Show was a huge hit, with one raffle winner taking home a huge prize and all patrons marking a great afternoon.
Congratulations to Diane Olson who won First Prize in the Albertville Lions 3rd Annual Sportsman’s Outdoor Extravaganza and Swap Meet Raffle on Saturday Sept. 10. She was awarded the prize (see photo) by Lion Jeff Edelman and Tom Voges from H & H Sports Shop in Maple Lake.
The weather was perfect for the outdoor event which included a DNR laser shooting area, a BB gun expo for the kids, a Fawn Petting Zoo, adorable puppies for sale, delicious samples and other vendors who joined the Lions for the first time.
“Our goal to bring together sportsmen and sportswomen, exhibitors and families was a success.” said Chairperson Lion Jeff Edelman. Planning has already begun to expand the event next year.

Edelman said the Lions say "Thank you" to everyone who attended, bought a raffle ticket or participated in the silent auction.
