Christmas Trees Go On Sale Around St. Michael, Albertville Today

It's a busy day for both Black Friday shoppers and families out getting just the perfect tree.

Thanksgiving has past and the Christmas season has officially kicked off. Families will flock to tree lots and tree farms today to get their trees. That is, if they aren't Black Friday shopping.

If you're looking to buy a pre-cut Christmas tree in St. Michael-Albertville there are three local options:

Schulte's Nursery has pre-cut trees and other assorted greenery for the Holidays and will be open regular business hours today and through the weekend.

The Knights of Columbus is having their annual Christmas tree sale at the St. Michael Catholic School. An assortment of trees is available as well as wreaths. Bring 3 or more canned items for a food shelf donation and receive $5 off your tree. They will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. today. Their regular hours are: Weekdays 4 p.m. to 8 p.m, Saturdays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m, Sundays 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Rum River Trees also opens their fresh cut tree kiosk today. Located in the empty parking lot across from Cashwise Liquor they too sell an assortment of types and sizes of trees. They are open all day today and then evenings and weekends until mid- December.

Jan's Christmas Tree Farm in Clear Lake was a crowd favorite on our Facebook page this past week and tree cutting began last weekend.

B & J Evergreen kicks off the tree cutting today at 9:30 a.m. They are also located in Clear Lake.

Hansen Tree Farm in Ramsey is open today from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. They are celebrating 60 years this winter.
