Community Wide Animal Blessing in Elk River Sunday
Holy Trinity Church of Elk River will be hosting a community wide animal blessing service Sunday.
The entire community is invited to Holy Trinity Church, 1326 4th Street, Elk River on Sun., Oct. 7, 12:00 to 1:00 pm.
The church is remembering St. Francis, a lover of all animals and simpler way of life.
The public is encouraged to bring their pets (cats, dogs, snakes, gerbils, rabbits) to this special blessing. Each pet will be individually blessed and special prayers will be said for the care of these beloved animals. Weather permitting, the blessings will take place on the lawn of the church.
