Children in the Saint Michael - Albertville area are invited to go on an Amazing Desert Journey! Living Hope Church and Connect Church, both of St. Michael, will be co-hosting the Amazing Desert Journey VBS from 9am - noon the week of August 6 - 10. Held at Connect Church (3989 MacIver Avenue NE), this VBS will share with children ages 3 through 5th grade (finished) lessons about God's love and how He provides for their lives now and in eternity through Jesus! Each themed day of VBS includes stories, puppets, music, games, crafts, and hands-on activities.
A four-member summer team from the Association Free Lutheran Bible School in Minneapolis, MN, will help volunteers from both churches lead these fun-filled days. Trained in children’s ministry, these students are spending the summer traveling through the Midwest, assisting congregations with VBS programs, summer youth camps, and other areas of service.

The week will conclude with a short program at 7 pm on Friday, allowing the children to share what they learned. Ice cream sandwiches for all attending will follow.
