Weekly Tip: Gas Station Flyers
Last week I talked about looking in your mailbox for savings at grocery stores. This week, I wanted to tell you about gas station mailers. These flyers will come in your mailbox from time to time. You wouldn’t normally think that the local gas station has better prices on groceries, but sometimes they do!
Gas stations will send out advertisements to your home periodically. This past week, I got a great flyer from Kwik Trip in St. Michael. They are having their Grand Opening sale with great coupon savings. The flyer they sent out is not available in stores, but it’s worth digging through your junk mail for this one. There are lots of freebies in that flyer.

I’ve also gotten some great coupons mailed to my home for other gas stations in our area for money off each gallon of gas. I am not loyal to any particular gas station, I tend to go where ever has a coupon. Even if they are 2 cents higher than the other station, the coupon always makes up for it.
Be on the look out for gasoline coupons that come in the mail. You won’t see a high percentage of savings with gas coupons, but you will save a lot of money over time if you always use a coupon or discount when you fill up your tank.
