The weekly Wednesday feature providing tips about when to grab the kids and where to go!

St. Michael Patch assembled a weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities both locally and within sturdy stone’s throw. CARTOON ILLUSTRATIONS

Where/When: St. Michael-Albertville-Hanover Community Library Friday, Mar. 11 from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.

Why Go: Kids aged 6-12 will get hands-on experience in learning how to draw cartoon illustrations from Gary Harbo.

FISH FRY

Where/When: Albertville City Hall (5975 Main Ave NE) Friday, Mar. 11 from 4to 8 p.m.

Why Go: Get your Friday fish fix and support the Albertville Lions Club, who will put all proceeds toward community projects.

Price: Adults $8, Ages 12 and under $4

STORY TIME ROCKS

Where/When: Monticello Library (200 W 6th Street) on Friday, Mar. 11 from 1-1:45 p.m.

Why Go: Preschoolers will love a new opportunity to enjoy stories, songs and crafts.

Price: Free but please call the library to reserve your spot

PANCAKE BREAKFAST

Where/When: Land of Lakes Choirboys’ Building (6437 Norris Lake Rd NW, Elk River) on Sunday, Mar. 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy a hot homemade breakfast while being serenaded by the Land of Lakes Choirboys.

Price: Free-will offering at the door
