Horseback Riding in Three Rivers Park District, Equestrian Trail Public Forums

Are you looking for a place to go horseback riding? 

Although Three Rivers Park District does not rent horses, community members can obtain a horseback riding pass to hit the trails with their horse, good at six different horseback riding trailsthroughout the west metro. 

Trails are open in Three Rivers Park District at Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve in Savage, Elm Creek Park Reserve in Maple Grove, Crow-Hassan Park Reserve in Hanover, Carver Park Reserve in Victoria, Baker Park Reserve in Medina and Lake Rebecca Park Reserve in Rockford.

Public Forums

Three Rivers Park District is hosting public forums to gather comments related to equestrian trail development, improvements, operations and priorities. The Board of Commissioners will use this information as it reviews Three Rivers’ equestrian trail operations.

The public is invited to attend forums:

Wednesday, September 11
In partnership with Scott County
Spring Lake Township
Town Hall
20381 Fairlawn Avenue, Prior Lake

Monday, September 16
Elm Creek Park Reserve – Chalet
12400 James Deane Parkway, Maple Grove

The forums will include an open house starting at 5:30 p.m. and an informational presentation and public comment period beginning at 6:30 p.m. 

Those unable to attend the public forums are also invited to submit written comments to:
