Mom's Talk: Would You Rather See a Long Spring Break or Earlier Summer Vacation?
As the St. Michael-Albertville School Board debates this same question, we ask for your input Moms (and Dads). Is it time to give the kids a "real" Spring Break?"
Thursday begins the long Presidents Weekend and pseudo-Spring Break for STMA families. Some families plan their big trips around these days off, while others pull their kids out of school other times and some just go with it and smile with pride when their students get out of school earlier than other districts in June.
What do you think? Do you take full advantage of the days the kids get off even though it’s not an official spring break? Or, are you disappointed each year when you see, yet again, there’s no weeklong break?
