UPDATED: National Night Out an Opportunity to Meet Your Neighbors in St. Michael, Albertville

The first Tuesday in August arrives with a chance to say "good night" to crime and "Hello" to friends and neighbors.

Take the time to get to know your neighbors. Chances are, it will strenghten your neighborhood, give you some new resources and even strike up a new friendship.

National Night Out, held annually the first Tuesday in August, is the perfect opportunity to do just that.

St. Michael has more than 20 different neighborhood parties scheduled tomorrow night, featuring visits from local law enforcements, the St. Michael Fire Department and, (Maybe) yours truly from St. Michael Patch.
