New Contract for Crow River Senior Center Newsletter Eliminates Printing Costs

The first edition was released in color and contains ads and graphics. The center only pays for mailing costs.

Color appeared for the first time in the Crow River Senior Center newsletter this week — and it was free.

The center has contracted with Liturgical Publications, Inc. to print the newsletter for free and take care of selling ads. Advertisements were previously not part of the newsletter. The company began selling local ads for the latest edition, the January/February 2013 edition, attached as a PDF to this article.

More graphics are also seen in the latest edition.

The Crow River Senior Center's only cost is postage for mailing the newsletter. Those who no longer wish to receive it, or have changed their address, are encouraged to contact the center to eliminate unnecessary postage costs.

The center also encourages feedback about the new look and format of the newsletter.

The email version of the newsletter will continue to be sent to those signed up, and copies will still be available for pickup at the center.
