St. Michael Catholic Church Making Preparations for Huge Fall Festival

The annual celebration is back, and growing. And your help is needed.

The Festival will be here soon. The two-day event takes place at the St. Michael Catholic Church and has activities for all ages. Events kick off Saturday with Bingo games that go on both days. Mass will still take place both Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

One of the more popular events is the traditional chicken dinner.

“Most people eat outside in under our big top tent, but we also have take-out and two different times of indoor reserved seating.  We normally serve about 2,000 dinners on Festival day,” said John Bonham, director at St. Michael Catholic Church shared.

Entertainment for the kids includes inflatables and games both days and a petting zoo and pony rides Sunday afternoon.

Finally, don’t miss out on the raffle. This year’s grand prize is $10,000 cash. Tickets are available for $10 at the St. Michael Parish Office.

It takes a lot of time and effort to put on the two-day festival and Bonham also shared that they are always in need of volunteers as well. “Some of the areas that we always look for people to help with are the chicken dinner, kids games, and setup/cleanup.”
