Storm Slams Into St. Michael

Hundreds in the Rogers area were without power.

Well, you knew all of that humidity was leading up to something.

Here's the scene from Albertville and St. Michael around 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19.

Hundreds were without power Thursday morning. According to the Xcel Energy Outage map, several residents between Rogers and just south of Highway 241 lost power around 10:45 a.m. It was restored several hours later.  

The National Weather Service Twin Cites tweeted around 10 a.m. Sept. 19:

1" diameter #hail 1 mile SE of Monticello at 10AM and 1.5" diameter hail near Big Lake at 10:02 AM (Wright Co. MN).

And another update around 10:30 a.m. 

HAM Radio reported street #flooding in downtown Monticello (Wright Co. MN) at the intersection of Hwy 25 and Broadway
