"The Voice of River Dance," Katie McMahon, presents a one night only performance at the Historic Church of St. Michael to aid preservation efforts.

Each holiday season, the group charged with preserving St. Michael’s signature building, the from the 19th Century, presents a community concert to raise money and bring the cities of St. Michael and Albertville together for one special night.

This year, the Preservation Committee will present Katie McMahon’s “Celtic Christmas” for a one night only show at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at the historic church, 22 N. Main St., St. Michael.

McMahon and her troupe will perform favorite carols in Gaelic, Latin, French and German throughout the evening. Dubbed “The Voice of River Dance,” McMahon has performed across the United States and throughout the world with her vocal talents.
