Art Auction & Wine Tasting

The Rotary Club of St. Michael-Albertville is hosting its second annual art auction and wine tasting, “Appreciate Art, Appreciate Rotary,” on Thursday, Feb. 16 at St. Michael City Hall, 11800 Town Center Drive N.E. The auction preview, wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres service begins at 5:30 p.m.; auction begins at 7 p.m.

This fun and enlightening community event will feature framed art for all tastes and budgets, a wide variety of international wine selections furnished by Coborn’s Liquor, and an hors d’oeuvres service contributed by local restaurateurs and caterers, including Dehmer’s Meats and Catering, River Inn, and J.R.’s Pizza.

Throughout the event, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about their local Rotary Club and its many contributions locally and internationally.  Locally,
the STMA Rotary Club provides scholarships to St. Michael-Albertville High School students, contributes to the food shelf, hosts exchange students, facilitates the STRIVE mentoring program for struggling high school students, and provides hats and mittens to local students in need. Every year, Rotarians read to STMA first graders on Dr. Seuss’s birthday, providing a book to each student. Most recently, the Rotary Club adopted two miles of Highway 35 for cleanup, from Jamison Avenue N.E. to Hamlin Avenue N.E.
