Wine Tasting & Turkey Tips

The St. Michael-Albertville Rotary Club is hosting a “Wine Tasting & Turkey Tips,” gathering from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 at the St. Michael City Center, 11800 Town Center Drive N.E.  in St. Michael.

Just in time for Thanksgiving, Coborn’s Corporate Chef Todd Callander will provide tips on how to prepare, roast, carve and serve the perfect Thanksgiving turkey, and wine experts from Coborn’s Liquor will help you select wines for your holiday feast.  The event also will include raffles and silent auctions to benefit the Hanover Area Food Shelf.

Throughout the event, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about their local Rotary Club and its many contributions locally and internationally.  Locally,
the STMA Rotary Club provides scholarships to St. Michael-Albertville High School students, contributes to the food shelf, hosts exchange students, facilitates the STRIVE mentoring program for struggling high school students, and provides hats and mittens to local students in need. Every year, Rotarians read to STMA first graders on Dr. Seuss’s birthday, providing a book to each student. Most recently, the Rotary Club adopted two miles of
Highway 35 for cleanup, from Jamison Avenue N.E. to Hamlin Avenue N.E.
