St. Michael-Albertville Band Set to Rock the State Fair

Octazooka competes tonight in the State Fair's vaunted talent contest with their rendition of "Crazy Train."

A group of four St. Michael/Albertville High School students are winding down their summer with some competition at the state fair. The group Octazooka, named after a Pokemon move, has made it to the semi-finals of the state fair talent competition and they compete for a place in the finals tonight at 6 p.m.

The group consists of leader, Ryne Hanson on the drums, Nathan Stiedham on the guitar, Micki Gergen on the bass and Haley Myers on vocals.

The self-proclaimed alternative/rock group will perform Crazy Train for fair-goers at the Leinie Lodge Bandshell and are hoping for their chance at the finals and a chance to win $500.
