CROSS School Supply Drive Provides 800 Backpacks for Local Children
The annual drive brings school supplies to children in northwest Hennepin County
More than $8,000 in donations was collected during the 2013 C.R.O.S.S. School Supply Drive, brining more than 800 backpacks to students at the headed back to school, according to a Press & News article.
C.R.O.S.S. partnered with the Rotary Club of Northwest Hennepin County for the July and August drive. Donations were received from community members, area churches, business and other groups.
The nonprofit organization serves the communities of Rogers, Maple Grove, Osseo, Dayton, Corcoran and west Champlin.
