Albertville Fire Gets a Helping Hand from Andy's Pizza

Once again the local pizza shop is teaming up with the local fire department for a fundraising event Monday night. Enjoy a pie and get delivery service from our firefighters.

Feel like pizza Monday night?

Yes, you have a lot of options, but one business is bringing back its annual way of giving back to the local community.

Andy's Pizza and the Albertville Fire Department are teaming up Monday, Dec. 17 from 3 to 9 p.m. to raise money for the local department.

Order a pizza and a portion of the proceeds (profits) will be given to AFD. This will help the department offer more training for staff, purchase new equipment and simply fuel up those trucks.

Order a pizza tonight and one of Albertville's finest will deliver that fresh, hot pizza to your door.

Join the AFD Reserves

Oh, and if you're looking for something to do to help your community, the Albertville Fire Department is seeking reserve firefighters.

Reserves are all First Responder and State Certified Fire Fighter trained. Once training and one year of service to the Fire Department is completed, a Reserve is eligible for a paid on-call position when becomes available. Reserves are expected to attend all monthly buisness meetings and Thursday evening trainings.
