Albertville Premium Outlets Closing at 5 p.m. Due to Cold

Employees will close down stores at 5 p.m., the retail spot's ownership group said via social media Monday.

Premium Outlets, the division of Simon Inc. that manages the property owners' retail outlets nationwide, announced it is closing the Albertville Premium Outlets at 5 p.m. today due to "inclement weather conditions."

The retail giant was closing outlet malls nationally today due to extreme cold in both the Twin Cities and Chicago areas, as well as Pittsburgh and more due to an East Coast winter storm.

Premium Outlets has not indicated any change in store hours tomorrow, Jan. 7, though St. Michael-Albertville Schools will be closed down due to another morning of extreme cold.
