Business Mag Honors Albertville's Mold-Tech

Regional accolades aren't new to St. Michael-Albertville, but this one hits the mark in a sector that has been battered by recent economic times.

Albertville-basedwas recently honored with the Manufacturing Company of the Year by "Minnesota Business Magazine." (Featured in December Issue).

"We appreciate the recognition and the chance to share our commitment to manufacturing in Minnesota," said John Lee, president of Mold-Tech. "I would like to thank our customers, business associates and partners that help us to achieve this award. We're proud to be a company that is not only recognized for our ability to provide quality molds to our customer, but also our ability to create a place where people enjoy coming to work each day. Founded in 1978, Albertville-based Mold-Tech has served the injected molding industry by designing and building high-quality injection molds. From 2009 to 2010 Mold-Tech saw an increase in sales by 21 percent. They have also created multiple programs to attract and retain employees.
