St. Michael Based Support Rewards Loyalty Program Off to a Successful Start

John Tschida's brainchild Support Rewards is off to a successful start in the St. Michael-Albertville area. With over 500 registered users and close to 1300 codes already redeemed, Tschida will be presenting the first donation check to St. Michael Elementary later this month.

The program that launched this past summer encourages local residents to shop local by rewarding their visits with codes that can be redeemed online for local business gift cards.In addition, a donation also goes local schools or non-profits of one's choosing.

"As more businesses participate in the program, more consumers will participate, which translates to more dollars staying in and helping the community," Tschida wrote earlier this month.

Local businesses that are using Support Rewards include: Verizon Wireless St. Michael, Dehmers Meats, Walgreens and others.
