Transition Hockey, aimed at working with hockey players in the Northwest suburbs is entering their second year.

The Transition Hockey Development Program, a youth hockey program based out of St. Michael and aimed at hockey players in the Northwest suburbs is entering their second year. Their mission exists to provide youth hockey players the opportunity to learn the game and have a wonderful experience while developing their skills in the offseason.

"We have been in business for 1 year and our first year of business was very successful," President and CEO Dan Ianazzo said.

In their first year the program completed their first AAA programs and also completed several hockey clinics.

"Our program has become an excellent resource for hockey players in the area to play off-season hockey at a competitive level," Ianazzo said

With 170 players and 10 coaches already part of the program this year, new players are still welcome and invited to visit their website for more information.
