Adrian Peterson's Court Date Delayed Again as Prosecutors Review Evidence

For the third time Adrian Peterson's court appearance or his July 7th arrest just to have it rescheduled by prosecutors who need more time to review the evidence.

Adrian Peterson missed another day of the Vikings training camp to make his court appearance for his July 7th arrest just to have it rescheduled by prosecutors who need more time to review the evidence. He faces misdemeanor and resisting-arrest charge.

A pretrial hearing was originally scheduled for July 13, and it was initially moved to Monday. Attorney Rusty Hardin said hearings would now be held Sept. 27 and Nov. 15 before Judge Natalie Fleming.

Peterson didn't speak with reporters after the hearing, but on July 13th he said he was innocent.

"I didn't push, shove, touch anything to anyone that night, especially an officer," Peterson said. "I definitely don't have a problem with the Houston P.D. This involves two individual officers that I have an issue with. Once everything is settled and (comes) to a head, the truth will come out."

What a waste of time though. Having to miss a day of training camp just to have the court appearance rescheduled.
