Attention Momtogs!

We’ve all heard it, “Oh look, there is a mom with a new camera! I bet she thinks she is a photographer.”

Shouldn’t all moms have a camera in their hands at some point? Who better to capture your child’s precious firsts, than you! If you love to look back and see those heartwarming images, pick up your camera and teach yourself to shoot better. After all, you are taking photos anyway; why not make them that much better? I know what you’re thinking. Why is she telling me this, she’s a photographer?

You don’t need to go out and buy all the props and equipment to become a professional, that’s what I’m here for. :) You still want to leave those special event photos up to the professionals, but learn how to fill those baby books with quality images that you and your kids will treasure forever.

So what is a momtog? A mom who loves to photograph her kids so much that the camera becomes an extension of her face. That’s where it truly started for me. I’ve always loved taking photos, and with my first pregnancy I immersed myself in photography, trying to learn everything I could. I want to share my knowledge with you and have this blog be a place you come to learn all you can to take better photos, letting Crystal Sayen Photography be your guide.
