Albertville Premium Outlets Tests the Waters with Job Fair

Over 16 stores at participated in the malls first ever job fair Tuesday afternoon. From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. applicants could stop in with their resumes, fill out applications and even speak with hiring managers from various stores.

Shaughnessy, manager at , said that she isn't just looking for seasonal employees. "We need forever employees as well."

also is hiring both seasonally and permanently as well. "We have quite a few positions available right now," said sales lead, Amy. "Stock, a part-time sales lead and even some permanent part timers."

The job fair was the idea of Jenna, the manager at Coldwater Creek. "I was looking for part-time help and started asking around about possibly sharing employees at other stores. I soon found out that everyone was looking for part time help. With the holidays coming as well many of us are looking to hire."

For the first job fair of it's kind, the store representatives were happy. "It would have been nice to see more people," Coldwater Creek manager Naomi said. "But we were able to see more than just walk ins."

They estimated that there were around 30 job-seekers that came during the fair.
