Amateur Duo Gets Video of Tornado on the Ground
Two men caught this video of the St. Michael tornado from Tuesday, May 10.
Two young men driving west on County Road 35 caught amazing video of the St. Michael tornado Tuesday night.
The twister, the state's first in 2011, ripped apart one home and damaged a couple others in the Meadow Pond development on the west edge of town around 7:45 p.m Tuesday, May 10.
The two men shot the footage from their car, and were southeast of the F-1 tornado when it touched down.

The National Weather Service in Chanhassen confirmed yesterday the storm dropped one tornado in St. Michael. It produced several other funnel clouds throughout the metro, including other funnels (one shown in this video) over St. Michael.
