Kindermusik and Downton Abbey Etiquette School Coming to the St. Michael Library

Two upcoming events at the St. Michael Library.

Kindermusik: A Musical Picnic Day – Monday, August 6

Children ages 1 to 5 are invited to the St. Michael Public Library for a
program called Kindermusik: Let's Make It a Musical Picnic Day on Monday, Aug. 6. The program is offered twice, from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. and also from 10:45 to 11:15 a.m. This program brings together young children with their parents/caregivers and Ms. Sandy to enjoy singing, circle dances, instrument exploration and other activities. The program is designed to stimulate children’s curiosity and help them develop a lifelong love of music. The attendance limit at each session is 15 and preregistration is required. This program is co-sponsored by the St. Michael Friends of the Library.

Downton Library Etiquette School for Ladies – Thursday, August 9

Young ladies ages 9 and older, together with an adult (mom, grandma, friend) are invited to the Downton Library Etiquette School for Ladies, taking place on Thursday, Aug. 9, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Learn how to introduce yourself and sip tea with grace and ease, like the ladies from “Downton Abbey.” Feel free to wear your finest fashion. The attendance limit is 20 and preregistration is required. This program is funded in part with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
