Busy Weekend Includes Albertville Moms Club Sale, Women of Today Events

Two great events are happening around town that you don't want to miss this weekend.

The Moms Club of Albertville and St. Micahel-Albertville Early Childhood/Family Education (ECFE) are hosting their 5th annual indoor garage sale this weekend at the gymnasium. There will be baby, children and maternity clothing and essentials including strollers, nursery equipment and toys with a portion of the sale proceeds being donated to the ECFE/Bright Beginnings Preschool Scholarship program.

Admission to the sale is $1 for adults and will be waived with a donation of baby food. The sale runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. this Saturday, February 4.

Women of Today hit Legacy

Another community event coming up is the STMA Women of Today are hosting a Bingo with the Seniors event at the . Local businesses were encouraged to get involved and "adopt a grandparent," and many did.

The following local businesses donated and are supporting the event: , J. Zac Inc., Great Clips, Albertville Family Dental, Anytime Fitness, Bob Kilian Electric Company, Broaster Catering, Casey’s General Store, Coborn’s, CVS Pharmacy, Edward Jones (Kathleen Meyer), Edward Jones (Kurt Kobes), Health Enhancement Therapies, Healthsource Chiropractic (Dr. Konz), , Parade Car Rentals, Patch.com, Walgreens and General Mills.

Because of their generosity, each of the 77 residents at the Legacy will receive a Valentine's gift along with the opportunity to win prizes during bingo.
