Forecast Worsens; 3–6 Inches of Snow Expected Wednesday Night

National Weather Service forecasters are calling for snow Wednesday night in St. Michael-Albertville, with more precip on Thursday.

Original post (Tuesday): Minnesota weather may have yet another surprise in store for St. Michael-Albertville residents.

National Weather Service forecasters are calling for 1–2 inches of snow across the metro area on Wednesday night, with more than an inch possible on Thursday.

The Twin Cities, as well as St. Michael-Albertville, will likely see rain beginning late Wednesday morning, according to the weather service. As temperatures fall into the 30s on Wednesday night, that rain may turn into snow.

Additional snow is possible on Thursday, with rain following on Thursday afternoon. The high temperature on Thursday is expected to be near 44 degrees, according to forecasters.
