Respectfully Yours Etiquette Boutique Launches in St. Michael

Jacinda Crews is the founder and owner of “Respectfully Yours, LLC,” located in St. Michael, a full-service etiquette consulting boutique company specializing in social graces and refinement, sophisticated and charming etiquette events and a present-day approach to a rich tradition of etiquette, civility, and protocol.

According to Crews those children with proper dining manners, effective communication skills and appropriate social skills will stand out amongst the competition. “Outshining the competition is key, but manners are more than getting the competitive edge, treating others with dignity and respect shapes a society that is civil and compassionate.”

Area children can learn how to enhance their communication, dining and social skills through various programs offered by Respectfully Yours etiquette consulting. The curriculum provides courses for children ages four to 18, collegiate level and adults focusing on the fundamental principles of etiquette; consideration, integrity and respect.

Her next class for children ages eight to twelve will take place a the St. Michael City Center on Thursday, Oct. 25th from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. which is part of a five week series in “Etiquette Essentials and Everyday Manners.” Children will learn about introducing themselves, saying “please” and “thank you,” giving gifts, telephone manners, online manners, and writing thank you notes. A section of the course also addresses dealing with teasing and bullies, and staying safe when strangers call, approach or visit. In addition, a part of the series will be devoted to table manners, eating at school and home, appropriate napkin use, correct use of utensils and learning about “American Style Dining” and “Continental Style Dining.”
